Transmec Group manages Cellular Italia logistics

Cellular Italia, leader in the business of accessories for telephony, relies on Transmec for the management of its integrated logistics signing a six years agreement.

The start up and implementation period required a team of Transmec technicians and Cellular Italia managers, working on forefront solutions for about twelve months in order to manage the complexity of Cellular Italia supply chain.

The development of a strong integration between Transmec and Cellular Italia permitted the set up of a dedicated structure. The warehouse has been equipped with different quality control and returns reconditioning positions, already managed by Cellular Italia staff.

A strong personalisation on the Incas management software Easy Store, already used by Transmec, allowed the data processing  integration with the SAP applications used by Cellular Italia.

Transmec Group attention concerning social themes, permitted the transfer of about 18 employees from the old organization to Transmec facility, guaranteeing full occupation.

Once again, Transmec was able to set up an operative-organizational strategy that allowed the development of a such customized project.
